Andrej Starkis - President & Chair
Andy has been a Milford resident for some 40 years. Raised in Boston, he graduated high school in Millis. He served two years in the Peace Corps in Iran and made his living as a carpenter before becoming a lawyer. He has practiced law in the greater Boston area since 1975 and, for the past 12 years, has been a professor at the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover. He has served the Town of Milford in a number of capacities: as a Town Meeting member, a member of the Growth Policy Committee, the state-appointed member of the Redevelopment Authority, and for many years a member and chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Josh Ingemi - Treasurer
Josh is a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young LLP and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs. He received his B.A. in American Studies from Providence College, M.S. in Television from Boston University, and M.S. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame. His previous television experience includes employment at WBZ-TV and Comcast. In high school Josh was actively involved in the town of Marblehead’s cable access station. In college he was the co-founder and program director of a student-run television network and president of the film club.
Jim Ligor - Clerk
My name is Jim Ligor and I am a born and raised resident of Milford with strong ties to the community. I began my civic involvement on the Milford Personnel Board for 10 years with 6 of those years as Chairman. Additionally, those 6 years as Chairman also gave me exposure to town meeting where I help shape and present multiple initiatives.
I have 2 boys in the Milford school district I believe in strong involvement in a “roll your sleeves up” approach participating in 6 Subcommittees including IT, Marketing, Policy, Budget, Wellness, Early Start Time, Fincom, and now Milford TV Board Member.
I am also fortunate to be intimately involved in the remarkable Business and Banking program lead by Alex Dion. Having an opportunity to work with students directly has helped me understand how Coreand alternative Curriculum can help shape a student’s success after high school as our focus is preparing our students for success after they leave MPS. Bringing my professional experience to role as well I have enjoyed sharing my knowledge and experience of over 20 years in Supply Chain, Product Marketing, Finance and my current role as Global Program Manager for the largest technology company on the planet
Steve Minichiello - Board Member
Steve began his television career in 1983 and has written and produced for WBZ-TV, WGBH-TV (PBS) and WCVB-TV, Boston, including the renowned newsmagazine, Chronicle. In September of 1992 his critically acclaimed documentary on youth and violence, Lost Hopes, Shattered Dreams, was broadcast on PBS. This production earned him an Emmy nomination, as well as aSilver Apple Award from the National Educational Video Festival. He also received an Emmy nomination, as well as an International Telly Award, National Association of Government Communicators Award and the San Francisco Film Festival Award for a 1995 PSA entitled "Alone". In January of 1997 PBS aired his acclaimed documentary on teens with HIV/AIDS entitled, "positive voices". An animated PSA he wrote and produced on Fatherhood won an Emmy in May 1997, and was an International Telly Award winner, as well as an ITS International Monitor Award finalist.
In 1998 he was honored with three Emmy Nominations. In 1999 he won an Emmy for a spot entitled Wish. He received two Emmy Nominations for the year 2000, another in 2002 for the PSA, Family, and most recently for the Girl Scouts of America in 2006.
Ray Auger - Board Member
Ray Auger is the Promotions/Multi-Media Director at WMRC First Class Radio in Milford. Raised in East Brookfield MA, his extended family moved to Milford in the 60s where they built a long history of involvement in the community. Ray continues that tradition being a resident, along his wife and children, since 2009. He sings in a few local bands and cohosts the show Distracted Driving, which can be seen on Milford TV along with his WMRC show Living For The Weekend.
Kevin Rudden - Board Member
Kevin has lived in the greater Milford area since 1980 and has been a professional high tech marketing writer and a news reporter/columnist for more than 40 years. At Milford TV, he has produced and co-hosted more than 115 episodes of 30 Minutes with the Town Crier. Kevin has served in local town government for more than 30 years and is a Massachusetts Accredited Assessor. He also has been a Boy Scout leader for more than 20 years, and serves on the boards of directors for several non-profit agencies.
Anne Berard - Board Member
Anne Berard is a Reference & Outreach Services Librarian at the Milford Town Library. She and her family have lived in Milford since 1996.
Anne coordinates the library's adult English as a Second Language Program and curates the Paul E. Curran Historical Collection. She earned her BA in English Communications from Emmanuel College and MA in Writing & Publishing from Emerson College. She is also a lector at St.Mary's and serves on the Outreach & Education Committee for Digital Commonwealth.
